Tolin interviews Gareth in hospital to find out if the officers who pursued him and Alice were responsible for the accident. But why did van driver Danny Rampton flee the scene? And what exactly has secretary Karen Donnelly stolen from the chemical company where she works?

Husband and wife Tsegga and Naomi make arrangements to be reunited in England, but things fail to go to plan, and James Taylor leaves his rented accommodation when he fears the net is closing in on him.
